The Role

As a Sustainability Solutions Specialist, you will be at the heart of our mission to drive sustainability forward. Your role will be essential in managing key projects, expanding our commercial reach, and supporting our customers in achieving their environmental goals. You will be a vital force in turning our sustainability ambitions into reality, making a significant impact both within our organization and for our global retail customers and other partners.

As the internal connector and storyteller, you will initiate short-, mid-, and long-term plans to achieve sustainability objectives for the Euro Pool System (EPS) division. You will steer Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) targets set by Euro Pool Group (EPG) and define actionable initiatives for EPS entities and regions. Monitoring and managing ESG project roadmaps and funnels will be essential, ensuring progress and ambition are communicated to top management and the ESG Steering Committee. Additionally, you will anticipate regulatory impacts on ESG and implement relevant policies and lead the consolidation of ESG reporting for the EPS division, ensuring accurate tracking and communication of our sustainability efforts. You will guide departments in collecting and reporting ESG data, manage use cases for external reports, and participate in carbon footprint audits.

Furthermore, you will be our customer-facing Sustainability Solutions Specialist, where you will guide and advise local and European EPS entities on effectively communicating sustainability ambitions to customers and partners. Proactively informing customers about our ESG initiatives and identifying opportunities for shared sustainability projects will be key. You will empower subsidiaries and customer-facing colleagues to understand and communicate sustainability concepts, becoming influential ambassadors. Your responsibilities will include supporting sales teams in presenting EPS sustainability USPs to top management, engaging in customer co-creation ESG projects, and exploring innovative initiatives for significant CO2 reductions. Additionally, you will actively participate in external stakeholder communications, including European fairs and networking events, to further our sustainability goals.
