Plukon Food Group

The current focus on sustainability reporting within Europe presents new opportunities and challenges in how we manage and improve the welfare of people, animals and the environment. At Plukon Food Group, we have made great progress in animal welfare and green production, leading to sustainable and socially responsible practices. The Sustainability Reporting Specialist will collaborate with a variety of teams on a broad spectrum of topics to integrate sustainability into our daily business operations. Do you have a passion for sustainability and enjoy tackling complex challenges? We invite you to join our team!

Your role

We are looking for a professional with a background in controlling, consultancy, or agri/food business analysis, who is eager to experience the process of sustainability reporting, and approaches this topic from an international business perspective as an opportunity.

The ideal candidate is socially skilled and can easily navigate in a complex organizational structure to get the desired results. You will be working with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, consultants, and industry organizations, in order to connect local and customer-based demands to international reporting requirements.

You will be responsible for managing all sustainability reporting requirements and translating this, together with the sustainability team, to recommendations for the business. You can easily prioritize the ‘need to have’ from the ‘nice to have’. Your primary focus will be the CSRD, EU Taxonomy and the SBTi, building upon the current structure.

We consider this department as a kind of 3D sudoku puzzle, in which you need to consider all layers. Solving this puzzle gives you a kick.

Your daily activities will include:

  • CSRD Reporting Process Owner : Ensure that topic owners meet reporting deadlines and check data readinees for the limited assurance.
  • IT Coordination : Collaborate with the IT department to develop and refine a central data collection platform. You will streamline the data collection processes and support both topic owners and IT in defining measurement points.
  • EU Taxonomy Preparation : Prepare for the reporting on and integration of the EU Taxonomy with the CSRD report
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on internal and external reporting requirements.
  • External Liaison: Engage with auditors and other external organizations regarding, for example, the CSRD report preparations.
  • Internal Communication: Work with the Sustainability Project Manager to create presentations and communication materials to enhance employee engagement and propose improvement projects.
  • Information Sharing: Provide the Sustainability Project Manager with relevant details for the CSR report and other customer communications
  • Support for Country Teams: Collaborate with the Sustainability team to find ways to assist Plukon country teams with sustainability topics.
  • Carbon Footprint Reporting: Stay informed about internal and external carbon footprint reporting requirements as for example the SBTI.
