Sustainability Internship – ESG & Climate

As an Intern in our Rotterdam Office, you will have an active role in every aspect organisation. You will have an active role in diagnosing and evaluating a company’s sustainability efforts and implementing sustainable changes within their organization while determining where an organisation stands regarding climate change. As training and growth are a central part of Nexio Projects, we will provide you with the tools and trainings needed to allow you to grow as a sustainability leader.

What you deliver

• Support client projects by assisting with ESG assessments, sustainability strategies, and reporting.
• Contribute to developing and managing internal knowledge databases, ensuring the centralization of key insights, regulations, and data.
• Collaborate with team members to capture and centralize best practices, enhancing organizational learning and continuous improvement.
• Work on sustainability gap analyses of our clients and develop roadmaps for improvement.
• Learn and apply various assessment methodologies (EcoVadis, BCorp, CDP…) and reporting standards (UNGC, GRI…), carbon footprint calculations (Scope 1,2,3).
• Identify the actions and measures our clients need to embed sustainability into their DNA.
• Research specific sustainability topics and have a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Write, analyse, format, and summarise information, graphs, presentations, and reports.
• Support project manager in client-facing calls.
