About this position

This is an assignment of approx.. six months to cover the maternity leave of our current Sustainability Manager. We are looking for someone who is by nature a multitasker and has passion for the agri-food industry. Ideally, we would like to have someone who can be available 4-days a week and 2-days in our office in Breda, The Netherlands. This is a position that requires deep understanding of the interests of different supply chain actors such as farmers and clients. Therefore, a holistic approach to sustainability is key. In addition to that, it is imperative to have experience with: CSRD, SBTi targets, GHG Emissions Protocol including Scope 1,2, and 3, EcoVadis, SEDEX Smeta as well as SAI FSA or GLOBAL GAP certifications.

October 2024 – Onboarding hours fully paid.

Officially starting period November 2024.

Key responsibilities

You are the driving seat of the Sustainability Manager position, which means you assume full responsibility of:

• Running our current farm-projects targeting CO2 reduction and water optimization.
• Lead our Sustainability Network, which is collecting sustainability data and raising internal awareness around sustainability topics.
• Support our production sites fully in all topics related to sustainability including the environmental reporting.
• Keep our Sustainability Content (internal and external comms) up to date.
• Diligently respond to our clients’ requests or inquiries regarding sustainability
• Diligently listen and actively act, when necessary, to our farmers’ requests and inquiries around sustainability.
• Support the GHG Emissions annual calculation.
