Sustainability Data Analyst – Packaging

The role:

Perfetti Van Melle is fully committed to improving the environmental impact across its value chain, reducing the plastic and water usage in manufacturing its products. In September 2021, Perfetti Van Melle signed on to the Science Based Targets Organization, publicly sharing its commitment to set science-based greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets across its supply chain. As an Sustainability Data Analyst – Packaging, you will enable Perfetti Van Melle to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable global value chain on packaging and carbon emissions.

What will you be doing in this role?

• In this role, you will be responsible for managing the data collection and reporting of the group’s environmental footprint and packaging KPIs
• Develop and implement the manufacturing and supplier due diligence and auditing program (e.g. SEDEX and associated SMETA audits).
• Design and implement a plan on how to measure Perfetti Van Melle products’ environmental impacts.
• Support collecting and reporting relevant data and information to meet the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
• You will report directly to the Chief Sustainability Officer and engage with internal departments, teams, and business units across different regions.
• Collaborating with drafting the non-financial report and designing the sustainability communication strategy of Perfetti Van Melle, including ecolabelling and on-pack claims.
• Engage with external stakeholders: certification providers, sustainability consultants, data, and reporting suppliers.
