Are you a driven and ambitious finance professional? Ready for the next step in your career? Then we are looking for you!
At Dunlop, we are committed to spreading health and happiness through sport. Because we believe that sport belongs to everyone. Anyone who wants to play can play. All you need is passion to play the game and share it with others. At Dunlop, we share this passion. And that is what has driven us for more than a century to perfect the products we make.
For our sporty European headquarters in Eindhoven, we are looking for Sustainability Compliance Intern as of now.
What will your duties look like?
The Sustainability Compliance Intern helps supporting Product Management teams by creating a research report that deduces whether Dunlop itself should be researching the legal requirements of sustainability reporting when it comes to our Dunlop branded products or to hire an external party to do it for the company. Following our available outline of the legalities that need to be checked, the intern prepares a report that creates an overview of the assumed workload and processes when it comes to the legalities, so that Dunlop can decide to pursue this research within the company or to collaborate with an external party to pick up this topic.
Your tasks will be as follows:
- Check which legal requirements need to be met according to our legal inventory list, check if list is complete
- Start assessing available materials that outline which sustainable legal requirements need to be complied with according to the EU guidelines, create foreseen processes, estimated workload and working hours
- Find external agencies that could help Dunlop with this topic, create overview with details per agency, timelines and costs
- Optimizing and assisting in the preparation of periodic packaging tax declarations
- Prepare presentations and present your ideas/ findings whether to go ahead with an external agency or to take up the task ourselves
