Our GRI Standards are used by over 10,000 companies each year, including 78% of the largest 250 in the world to identify and manage their impacts.

We are seeking a Standards Manager for a 4-6 month maternity leave replacement. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our leading sustainability reporting standards and join a dynamic, fast-growing, sector-leading international organization at the forefront of sustainability reporting.

The development of the Labor and Climate Standards is underway, with a focus on addressing the comments received during public commenting period and global outreach with stakeholders. Your tasks will involve researching the comments related to relevant topics and sectors, setting up and facilitating multi-stakeholder group meetings of technical experts focused on specific related content areas, and translating this input into technical content for the final reporting standard.

You will also be responsible for managing the next steps of the public consultation processes and other engagement processes to solicit stakeholder input for the development of each GRI Standard, and for liaising directly with the Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB), GRI’s designated standard-setting body, to obtain approval of the final Standard.

You will support either the labor or climate change project teams in developing the relevant GRI Global Sustainability Reporting Standards. You will work closely with global experts on these topics. It is not a requirement to be an expert in the specific topic but it is your role to draw out and synthesize multi-stakeholder points of view, providing a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge on the topics you focus on.
