The main purpose of a social sustainability expert is to develop and implement strategies that promote sustainable and ethical practices within an organisation.
This includes ensuring that the company complies with social regulations, implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives, and promoting health and well-being in the workplace. The social sustainability expert works to balance the needs of the organisation with those of society, ensuring that the company operates in a socially responsible manner while still achieving its business goals. At the end of 2025 100% of the OpCos need to be under Human Rights Due Dilligence 50% female in senior management positions, there is a global wellbeing standard established and we support the communities in which we operate.

  • Responsible to define part of the Global FrieslandCampina agenda on DE&I / WellBeing / Human Rights / Community support.
  • Develop and execute policy work with partners like Workplace Pride, Lead Network, Refugee Talent Hub, Red Cross.
  • Design company wide programs to be rolled out through the capability pools.
  • Design reporting mechanism to comply with CSRD.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in social sustainability.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of social sustainability efforts.
  • Work closely with the ESG Team to design and implement the ESG strategy
