In this role, you’ll guide organizations on how to implement green practices and reduce their environmental footprint. You will work with management to develop an overall sustainability program.

You are responsible for

  • Monitoring and tracking global product regulations on material compliance and regulated substances, eg RoHS, REACH, regulations on PFAS
  • Assessing the impact of regulatory changes and implementing internal processes, standards and work instructions, helping Philips internal businesses to comply.
  • Representing Philips and its position in different sector-specific industry associations and standardization bodies
  • Creating training materials and deploying training and standard processes to product development teams across Philips businesses regarding environmental product compliance
  • Supporting Philips businesses with expert knowledge on requirements and implementation, providing recommendations to anticipate future regulations, and supporting resolution of non-conformities
  • Maintaining, simplifying, and automating internal processes, standards, and tools, regarding environmental product compliance
  • Analysis and reporting of compliance data to support customer and tender requests, and management reviews
  • Providing the manufacturing sustainability team with regulatory inputs regarding the use of chemicals during production
  • Work in close collaboration with other Subject Matter Experts within Environmental reporting and Group Health and Safety
