Or PRé Sustainability as we are officially known. We love the planet. It’s our home. We are driven to make it a better place. We help companies to realize their sustainability goals. Our approach is fact-based and complete. For the latter we assess the whole lifecycle of products or services of our customers using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) principle.

Our SimaPro software has been the standard for experts in calculating LCA’s for decades and we are on the verge of introducing the next step: a platform which enables a broad group of sectors, companies and audiences to learn about the facts of their sustainability, tailor made for different user groups. With the new platform we want to create and develop a new market, once again.

Good things come in small packages. And will flourish. You will be part of a select team of four (together with an UX Researcher, a Product Designer and another Product Owner).

Your job as Product Owner

For decades our SimaPro expert software is widely considered and recognized as the standard for calculating fact-based sustainability by using the LCA principle. A lot of our expert users have been on this journey with us for many years. They have greatly contributed to building an ecosystem of informed changemakers, committed to make the world a better place by using facts for sustainability.

As our new Product Owner we expect you to use the voice of our expert users in the further development of SimaPro. Our strategic roadmap leads the way, and we expect you to balance ideas, questions and expectations among different stakeholders. With one goal: providing bite size pieces to our development team, so they can realize the next step in our user’s journey. As effective and efficient as possible.

Another important challenge will be to get us out of our start/scale up mindset and create a common vision, structure, priorities based on research and facts which leads to more top-down thinking and working. Obviously, stakeholder management and nourishing our dynamic company culture are important in this process.
