Junior Sustainability Specialist

Your responsibilities

• Support the sustainability team and the business (Dredging & Infra) in implementing sustainability (specifically GHG emissions) initiatives across the business, projects, and fleet operations;
• Provide technical advice on sustainability to leadership, enhancing decision-making processes;
• Gain and share knowledge from universities, NGOs, and business partners, ensuring the Van Oord remains innovative and aligned with regulations;
• Prepare and align impactful internal and external sustainability reports, specifically in relation to GHG emissions and the business (Dredging & Infrastructure);
• Specific responsibility for the scope of the CO2 Achievement Ladder audit and associated reporting for the Scopes 1, 2, and 3 GHG Emissions of the Netherlands part of the business.
