Global Value Chains -Lead

To drive the transition to a global circular economy at the speed and scale necessary, transnational cooperation and public private partnerships across global value chains are essential. Circle Economy has the ambition to expand and accelerate our work globally through the development of long term strategic initiatives with multilateral and supranational institutions with a focus on working in low and lower-middle income countries. Building on projects including SWITCH to CE Value Chains, we are now looking to take our efforts to the next level with the help of a visionary leader who can support us in our ambition to to drive the transition to circular value chains.

Your role in the Circle Economy team

You will be responsible for the growth and development of long term strategic initiatives with a focus on global value chains for Circle Economy. The responsibilities include:

• Outline our strategy towards realising our impact and revenue goals across our work on global value chains portfolio.
• Establish a team ‘Circle’, defining roles, responsibilities and ambitions towards achieving our impact goals.
• Facilitate a team of colleagues towards realising the strategy, monitor progress and identify blockers to solve in collaboration with the management team.
• Establish relevant strategic partnerships.
• Pursue funding opportunities, and lead the preparation and execution of proposals.
• Collaborate across ‘Circles’ to align on and maximise opportunities and ultimately impact across the organisation.
• Represent our work externally, and actively seek for opportunities to position and communicate about our work.
