ESG (Environmental) Reporting and Analysis Expert

Within ASML, the reporting of high quality Sustainability data is key to drive environmental improvements in line with our ESG Sustainability strategy. It is the basis to be able to reach the targets set. Over the last years, we have been working towards full compliance to the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Now compliance is ensured, we want to further professionalize the data collection process. This role focuses on obtaining high quality environmental data needed for our annual report (Energy (natural gas, electricity, heat), CO2 emissions (scope 1, 2, 3), Waste (hazardous, non-hazardous, radio-active) and Pollution (NOx, VOC)) for all our locations worldwide.

Role and responsibilities

Your main task will be to ensure the timely reporting of this data, and to do checks on the quality of the data provided, so the data can be shared with our Finance team to be disclosed in our annual report. For this task, you will need to build a network of stakeholders all across ASML, both at corporate level at our headquarter in The Netherlands, as at sector level worldwide.

Next to this, you will work together with colleagues within the corporate EHS team and other teams to work towards data quality improvements and you will execute data analysis to determine the environmental impact on a local/ sector level.

Based on your strengths and technical experience, you will also support other corporate EHS processes, like EHS compliance management, internal EHS audits, managing environmental aspects and impacts or risk management.

This role is based within the corporate EHS team.  It interfaces with the EHS manager of own team and with experts and managers of other sectors, both within and outside the EHS work field.
