ESG Associate

ACRE is partnering with Waterland to recruit an ESG Associate. This person will be part of the Central Services team which consists of more than 50 specialists who are responsible for the reporting, accounting, legal, tax, ESG, investor relations, HR and information management functions of the Waterland funds and Waterland group.

As an ESG Associate you will be:

• Providing ESG and operational advice to Waterland’s investment teams in the general ESG space.
• Steering the implementation of the firm’s ESG approach.
• Advising investment teams and portfolio companies about ESG considerations in new deals and support in implementing ESG Roadmaps, value creation- and improvement initiatives.
• Working with the ESG team, investment teams and other internal Waterland teams to coordinate ESG data reporting and develop internal/external reports that align with common sustainability frameworks (e.g., SASB, GRI, TCFD etc.).
• Coordination and improvement of our own ESG database; support communication and reporting to investors, regulators, and stakeholders on ESG-related matters.

The ESG Associate will report to the ESG Director based in Bussum. The role is highly varied and involves working in a supportive, ambitious, and dynamic team.
