Job overview

WBCSD’s Circular Products and Materials team is seeking to hire an Associate to support the Circular Transition Indicators (CTI) project.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Circular Economy Manager in the management and delivery of the Circular Transition Indicators (CTI) project work plan.

The position will report to the Manager, Circular Economy, leading WBCSD’s Circular Transition Indicators project.

Responsibilities and duties:
Specifically, the candidate will support the:

  • Development of new CTI indicators and methodological guidance
  • Development of sector guidelines for the measurement and reporting of circularity performance in collaboration with WBCSD’s members.
  • Development of use cases of circularity measurement based on CTI in collaboration with CTI project members.
  • Outreach, recruitment, and onboarding of new members in the CTI project.
  • Development and implementation of media outreach campaigns and capacity-building activities to facilitate adoption and scale-up of the Circular Transition Indicators by business organizations globally.
  • Support the Manager in the delivery of overall CTI project related priorities.

Additionally, the candidate will focus on supporting outreach and adoption of CTI by companies:

  • Developing content and provide logistic support in the organization of virtual and in-person workshops, meetings & events
  • Supporting the development of communication material and facilitate social media engagement
  • Facilitating the engagement of companies (members and prospects) and key stakeholders towards the achievement of the CTI project deliverables.
  • Leading the day-to-day project activities to deliver the agreed CTI project work, action agenda and implementation plan
  • Cultivating ample opportunities for companies to communicate and engage in strategy and technical stream development.
  • Managing the database and organizing ad-hoc events.
