SABIC Innovative Plastics wint de Responsible Care Award

De Vereniging van de Nederlandse Chemische Industrie (VNCI), heeft SABIC Innovative Plastics bekroond met de Responsible Care Award 2009, tijdens de VNCI jaarvergadering gisteren in Den Haag. Met deze prijs ontvangt het bedrijf erkenning voor het ontwikkelen van een productportfolio op basis van polybutyleen tereftalaat (PBT) waarin polyethyleen tereftalaat (PET) – onder andere te vinden in wegwerp drinkflesjes – wordt hergebruikt. Het materiaal wordt gemaakt door middel van een gepatenteerd productieproces .
