ORSE publishes report on Sustainable Procurement reporting

First of its kind, this study identifies major trends in Sustainable Procurement policies :

* Sustainable Procurement has now become a standard practice: 95% of companies mention Sustainable Procurement in their Sustainable Development or CSR report.

* It represents an important aspect of Sustainable Development policies: 64% of companies introduce their Sustainable Procurement approach as a priority objective of their CSR policy.

* 51% of companies have set quantitative Sustainable Procurement targets.
Companies still do not communicate enough on their internal organisation (governance, motivation/training of buyers).

* Less than 1% of the companies communicate on their buyers’ individual CSR targets.
