Dive into carbon accounting
Do you get questions from your clients about carbon footprinting, but you don’t have any practical experience yet? Our academy aims to support consultants who are starting with carbon accounting services. This trajectory was designed together with consultants for consultants, but is open to everyone.

4 Online sessions
The course includes 4 different sessions where you will be introduced to the GHG Protocol
and learn how to use the Carbon+Alt+Delete software in a case study.
1. Carbon accounting 101
- Introduction to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Standards and Guidances
- Overview of the data collection process
- Deepdive on the 21 activity categories driving emissions
2. Tooling and processes
- Deepdive on emission factor databases
- Deepdive on carbon mitigation planning
- Introduction to carbon accounting software
3. Carbon accounting 201
- Deepdive on (Science Based) target setting
- Deepdive on European regulation: CSRD, CBAM
- Deepdive on land-based emissions: LSRG, FLAG
4. Presentation of a case study
- Preparation of a real-life carbon footprint
- Presentation to and feedback from peers on case study
Register now: The carbon academy is hold twice per year and will only take place as of 5 participants, with max 15 participants. Registration is open to everyone.
