Dutch aWEARness has been selected as a finalist in the Entrepreneurship category for the Circulars. The Circulars is an annual event recognizing individuals and enterprises from commerce, civil society and academia that have made a notable contribution to driving circular economy principles. It is an initiative of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders Taskforce, in collaboration with Accenture. The Circulars team has received close to 200 high-quality entries from across the globe.
Dutch aWEARness has submitted an entry to the Circulars for its circular supply chain with fully recyclable work wear for major European companies within the EcoProFabrics project (an innovation project that is part of the European Commission’s Eco Innovation programme), and its circular track and trace system CCMS, which enables the sustainable textile company to manage, track and trace all material flows real-time within the circular economy. All Dutch aWEARness products are suitable for (re)use in the circular economy, as its products are “designed for reincarnation” – they are restorative by design.
