GRI has developed this user’s guide as a contribution to facilitating the use of the OECD MNE Guidelines. The heart of the guide is a comparative table that enables users to identify the GRI indicators that correspond most closely to the individual provisions of the OECD Guidelines. With funding from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in cooperation with the OECD Committee for International Investment and Multinational Enterprises, the guide is available free of charge at the link below.
The ability of the GRI Guidelines to bring expression and accountability to international standards and codes such as the OECD Guidelines has been widely recognized. Stay tuned for more information on a useful publication we are working on for release in November that will provide an easy to use guide for using the GRI Guidelines to demonstrate commitment and progress with the Global Compact Principles, the Millennium Development Goals and the OECD Guidelines for MNE’s.
