Sustainability Reporting Lead

As part of that support the Corporate Planning & Investment Management division are looking for a new team member, this individual will be responsible for coordinating and reporting sustainability related activities. This will include aligning the company’s sustainability reporting requirements with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in terms of framework, policies, data collection and assurance to ensure meeting the Company sustainability reporting targets and ambitions.

This position will require collaboration and coordination with a wide range of internal stakeholders to understand and develop the company’s sustainability report design, policies, initiatives, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and rollout of the Company’s annual sustainability report in line with CSRD requirements and other relevant regulations
• Identify and track the latest trends in sustainability reporting regulations (‘CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CS3D, etc.), best practices, frameworks and standards
• Assess the organization’s current sustainability performance, identify and prioritize the organization’s key sustainability issues as part of the materiality analysis
• Ensure appropriate internal controls and measurement systems are in place to support and maintain sustainability reporting integrity and assurance over regulations affecting AOC ESG reporting requirements (‘CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CS3D, etc.)
• Support development of sustainability reporting within AOC affiliates
• Sustainability data collection in coordination with internal responsible organizations and reporting throughout the year
• Advise internally on policy development related to sustainability
• Data assurance and verification for external reporting purposes
• Participate the drafting of sustainability related, messages, insights, whitepapers and external reports
• Coordinate with Saudi Aramco group on sustainability activities and align with strategic positions and narratives
• Establish credibility and effectively interact with organizations within the company, including all levels of senior leadership
• Mentor less experienced analysts and professional staff
