As the ESG Lead at OLX, you play a crucial role in helping the company fulfill its purpose of building a more sustainable world through trade. Your role is instrumental in executing our ESG strategy, coordinating efforts within OLX to drive various social and environmental programs, building internal and external ambassador programs, and coordinating our reporting efforts. This full-time role is based in Amsterdam, South Africa, Portugal, Poland or Romania.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• • Drive the execution of the ESG strategy across OLX.
  • Collaborate with the sustainability team at Prosus to leverage each other’s programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinate and support local OLX teams to implement Environmental and Social projects in different markets.
  • Manage our Environmental program, including the collection of greenhouse gas emissions across all OLX businesses and markets.
  • Lead our thought leadership program on the Circular Economy.
  • Coordinate all company efforts on regulation reporting, acting as the link between OLX and Prosus.
  • Develop and implement employee activation programs to engage our employees in sustainability initiatives.
  • Evangelize sustainability across our company through trainings and workshops.
  • Work with third parties such as consultancies, auditors, and communication agencies to ensure our success.
