The internship

Are you a (graduate) student, passionate about sustainability, and looking for an experience in an international environment?

HEINEKEN committed to becoming net zero carbon by 2030 for scope 1 and 2 and by 2040 for scope 3 and to reduce its water usage significantly. To achieve this ambition, we run multiple projects, and we want to measure the impact of those projects. That’s when accurate sustainability reporting is essential. As part of this internship, you will support sustainability reporting, coordinate the overall process, provide supporting materials, manage different stakeholders, and review data accuracy and performance.

The internship is based in Schiphol (or partly remote) and available on 1st of February for a duration of a minimum of 6 months.

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course always with the guidance that is right for you.

Your responsibilities

In this internship you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate (waste) water reporting
  • Prepare and consolidate reported (waste) water data for evaluations: performance and compliance
  • Update documentation and guidance on reporting
  • Create training materials on (waste) water reporting for our production sites
  • Support HEINEKEN Operating companies worldwide with sustainability reporting
  • Analyse reporting data, highlight issues, and provide feedback to reporting sites
