The Finance department at our headquarters in the Netherlands is a dynamic team of 25 professionals, organized for agility and efficiency. Strategically positioned close to our factories and R&D teams, Finance maintains short lines of communication with other functions, enabling a deep understanding of the stories behind the numbers. Regular visits to our high-tech factory for physical inspections further strengthen this connection.

About the role

Our Finance team covers a broad array of responsibilities, including financial administration, management accounting, statutory accounting, treasury, tax compliance, business control, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting. By integrating these diverse functions into a single team, we eliminate silos and streamline operations, reducing duplication of effort and fostering cohesive strategies

We maintain strong ties with our Finance teams in the US and China, fostering a truly global perspective. Each year, our team members visit one of our international locations to conduct internal audits and benchmark our processes, ensuring we remain at the forefront of industry standards.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and impact-driven ESG Reporting Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience as auditor (RA/AA), reporting specialist or financial controller with a focus on sustainability reporting. As the ESG Reporting Manager at Prodrive, you will be responsible for leading our ESG reporting efforts, ensuring compliance with CSRD and the EU taxonomy regulations, and preparing our sustainability statement. You will play a key role in preparing the ESG KPIs for the monthly reporting to the executive team and supervisory board.

Key responsibilities

You will:

• Lead the preparation of comprehensive ESG reports, ensuring alignment with relevant (international) regulations such as CSRD and the EU taxonomy, while incorporating key sustainability metrics.
• Managing (validated) KPIs/PIs related to various sustainability aspects, including PowerBI insights for energy usage and Scope 3 emission trends.
• Develop a cohesive narrative that explains the story behind both financial and non-financial data, providing stakeholders with context and insights.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Sustainability, R&D and Operations, to gather and verify both financial and ESG data.
• Provide insights into ESG performance, trends, and benchmarks, contributing to informed decision-making for the executive team and board.
• Identify and track key sustainability KPIs, implementing automated reporting mechanisms for efficient data management and communication.
• Play a crucial role in the integration of ESG into broader financial reporting, ensuring that non-financial disclosures are accurate, transparent, and timely.
• Stay current with ESG trends and regulations, ensuring that our reporting framework adapts to evolving standards and stakeholder expectations.
