As sustainability officer you are responsible for praticipating our sustainability initiatives and ensuring that they are integrated into all aspects of the business operations. This may involve developing and implementing strategies to minimize our environmental impact, promoting energy efficiency and waste reduction, and engaging with stakeholders to communicate and promote sustainability efforts. You are also involved in tracking and reporting on key sustainability metrics, as well as staying informed about regulatory changes and best practices in the field of sustainability. As a Sustainability Officer, you will report to the Head of Sustainability.
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborate in the implementation of regulatory compliance requirements that impact our operations, both at Royal IHC and our supply chain (CSRD reporting).
- Monitoring and reporting on ESG metrics (KPIs) and targets.
Collaborate in the sustainability team for developing short- and long-term sustainability strategies for Royal IHC, and to assess, report and communicate the progress on the units.
- Identifying and promoting best practices and opportunities for improvement in sustainability and the required due diligence aspects.
- Leading or supporting sustainability advisory activities for internal and external stakeholders.
