We are seeking a motivated Sustainability Intern to join our dynamic team, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in sustainability within the petrochemical industry. Working closely with the Sustainability Commercial Team, you’ll contribute to key projects and gain valuable insights into legislative trends, sustainability strategies, market research, and commercial practices, particularly in the alternative feedstocks of COUNT’s Circular Portfolio like Pyrolysis Oil, Circular Naphtha, Circular Benzene, and Circular Styrene.

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Sustainability Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in the challenging field of sustainability within the petrochemical industry. As an intern, you will work closely with the Sustainability Commercial Team and play a crucial role in several key projects aimed at enhancing our sustainability initiatives. You will gain valuable insight into legislative trends, sustainability strategies, market research, and commercial practices.

Projects you Will Work On

  • Legislation Analysis: Study existing and upcoming legislation affecting COUNT operations and analyze the effect on circular commodities.
  • Plastic Credit & Paper Commodities Research: Investigate the potential role of plastic credits in supporting the Plastic Supply Chain in the transition to Circularity.
  • Market Updates: Gain state-of-the-art knowledge of the market by participating in industry events and webinars and analyzing news and social media posts.
  • Business Development: Deepen understanding of the key players in the transition to sustainability in the petrochemical industry to identify potential partners.
  • Capacity Building: Develop communicational skills by organizing commercial training sessions focused on sustainability topics.
  • CO2 Footprint Development: Assist in the development of our CO2 desk by gathering and analyzing data related to the carbon footprint of our business activities.
