Jr. Business controller Sustainability

Van den Bosch is a leading logistics provider specialising in bulk. The importance of sustainable logistics is increasing, requiring smarter and greener solutions. We want to further increase our positive impact to make the bulk sector more sustainable together. Over the past 15 years, Van den Bosch has converted more than 85% of its operations to intermodal transport. Through this change in transport mode, we and our customers have saved more than 30,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions. Van den Bosch is the first transporter worldwide to be independently verified for CO2 emission calculations and reporting that meet the applicable ISO 14083:2023 requirements. To help us further with sustainability, we are looking for a Junior Business controller Sustainability.

As Junior Business controller Sustainability at Van den Bosch, you will be the driving force behind our ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) strategy. You are our connecting link between our sustainability objectives and data, with your data-driven initiatives having an impact on the organisation’s sustainability policy.

In this role, you ensure that we comply with all legal reporting requirements and act as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders on sustainability data reported by business control. You support management by analysing financial data, preparing ESG reports and developing strategies. You also keep our sustainability data up to date, evaluate and improve our operational processes with a focus on sustainability and introduce new initiatives for continuous improvement. You put sustainability on the agenda and create awareness throughout the company. Furthermore, you work together with a team of experts and contribute to audits. Finally, you support your fellow Business Controllers in performing analyses of other divisions, so you get to know the entire organisation!
