You and your job

As Sustainability Transformation Officer you will contribute to reaching our mission ‘Growing a Better World Together’. As part of the transformation team, you will support and cooperate with your colleagues in driving our Rabobank Group-wide sustainability ambitions and plans, developing the strategic sustainability roadmap and monitoring its execution.

Your primary focus in the STO team is learning and development (L&D), ensuring Rabobank employees have the right knowledge, skills and capabilities on Sustainability. In close cooperation with the senior L&D lead in the Transformation team, other Group Sustainability experts, HR and the learning and development experts across the different domains of the bank you design, deliver and maintain clear and engaging training products that inspire and ignite action. This includes e-learnings (e.g. SustainabilityWise), and designing/facilitating training workshops (e.g. the Climate Resilience Game). In addition, you take a pro-active role in ensuring the thriving Sustainability Community continues to grow and inspire all Rabobank employees.

You are a hands-on and collaborative sustainability expert with a vision on community management, and learning & development. You recognize that transformation revolves around creating and growing a collective, inclusive movement, that stretches beyond formal structures and plans alone. And you have the organizational sensitivity, personal impact and drive to shape that movement.

Curriculum Development: collaborate with HR and domain leads to shape the overarching sustainability learning vision. Define role-specific learning objectives and create a structured training approach for all Rabobank employees and foster a culture of continuous learning and sustainability awareness.

Knowledge Management: organize knowledge events for different and specific target audience. Harness, maintain and share sustainability knowledge using different available platforms such as Rabo Academy’s Sustainability Portfolio, Percipio and Sustainability Community.

Product Development: design and develop engaging learning products that empower employees to embrace sustainable practices. Curate relevant content, ensuring it aligns with Rabobank’s sustainability goals. Leverage innovative formats (e.g., e-learning modules, workshops) to enhance knowledge dissemination.

Project & Stakeholder Management: collaborate and work together with the Senior L&D Lead to timely deliver training products and collaborate across different departments (e.g., communication, HR) to ensure learning products remain current and relevant. Engage with relevant departments to maintain consistency and alignment across learning initiatives. Communication & Engagement: proactively nurture the thriving Sustainability Community within Rabobank. Participate and facilitate regular Community Leads interactions, fostering knowledge sharing and inspiration. Help organize impactful events that promote sustainability awareness and encourage employee participation. Actively build and increase member base of Sustainability Community.
