As part of Danone Renew strategy, the company reframed its sustainability journey, articulated around 3 pillars: Health, Nature and People & Communities. For each pillar, Danone defines a new set of priorities which are translated into mid to long-term objectives, focusing on where the company can deliver the most impact and value. To ensure success in achieving this ambition, Danone is building a dedicated capability focused coordinating our Supplier Engagement, Traceability & Internal Comms strategies working inside a global team and Cycles & Procurement.

The role will have a strong focus on Greenhouse gas emissions & Supply Chain Decarbonization but will span across Environmental topics with a strong element of Supplier engagement. The major focus will be on leveraging industry best practices on the basics then selecting key innovative transformation opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

•Map out specific initiatives with top suppliers and partners, supporting the coordination of the initiatives, timing, results, cost, impact.
•Monitor the progress from ambition to action – to deliver global and zone emissions targets
•Manage processes to monitor and track the global SBTi roadmap, giving insight to key achievements and decision requirements and holding zones and functions accountable for delivering plans and capturing value.
•Create effective project management and governance surrounding key partnerships related to greenhouse gas commitments.
•Structure and execute internal and external forums to effectively share expectations and greenhouse gas ambitions; facilitate idea generation, best practice sharing and preferred investment opportunities.
•Identify and propose initiatives aligned to greenhouse gas emissions targets and commitments to the relevant decision bodies.
•Align on the strategy for Supply chain decarbonization program.
•Drive the tool kit for buying teams & suppliers.
