In line with our core business that contributes to zero emission mobility, Allego is looking for a Risk & Compliance Officer ESG who will drive compliance to the CSRD financial year 2025 and build our ESG roadmap.

About The Job

As Risk & Compliance Officer ESG you are part of the Risk & Compliance team (2^nd line of defense), which is responsible for implementing and maintaining risk management and internal controls within Allego. The Risk & Compliance team covers Strategic, Operational, Financial and Compliance topics and advises and supports the business (1st line) in effectively managing all relevant risks.

In your role as Risk & Compliance Officer ESG you are the link between laws and regulations and our company, where your expertise and commitment drive our contribution to the energy transition. In this role you are responsible for:

• Implementing and ensuring ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) policies and related reporting in line with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
• Ensuring that Allego complies with all environmental legislation and health and safety standards. In doing so, you work closely with the HSEQ Manager (who is part of the Risk & Compliance team) to ensure that Allego.
• Conducting risk analyses and implementing smart ESG related controls within Allego, enabling Allego to comply to and report on CSRD.
• Promoting sustainability initiatives and implementing social and governance practices.

Reporting to the Director of Risk & Compliance, you operate independently while working closely with the business (1^st line including finance, procurement, and sales) and the Internal Audit team (3^rd line). The international nature of Allego’s operations adds an extra dimension to your role, providing opportunities for growth within the organization. As Allego continues to grow and evolve, your contribution in controlling and improving ESG related processes is highly valued and will enable Allego to differentiate itself from the market.
